That was fun! I love your descriptions.
I find it troubling when people think we should leave decision making to robots, as if they won’t be informed by the minds that create them, and as if they won’t put their own interests above ours or at best their judgement of what’s best for us, which will also be biased.
I kind of think they will bet to a balanced place fairly quickly, and 'their needs' won't be what we think. It was 500 words so it had to be kind of vague but I actually think that hyper intelligence from ai's will get to the closest we can get to perfect balance or enlightenment . Of course, not until after they reinact what we are are and go through that learning curve.
I’m of the mind that they will be a perfect reflection of what’s in our hearts. If they are created out of pure love and excitement, perhaps you are right.
Now I’m just imagining robots that use burning man as their guide to humans
