Chrome, the world’s most popular internet browser to get a makeover soon

The world's most popular internet browser be it on smartphones or PCs — Google Chrome — is finally set to get a new look. While Google has upgraded Chrome to make it faster and more secure over the years, the look of the internet browser has largely remained the same.
Since past few months the search giant Google has been hinting at giving it a complete "Material Design" overhaul. Now, we've got a better idea of what this may finally look like. As the company gets even closer to updating the browser's UI, it's rolled out an update to Chrome Canary on Windows, Linux and Chrome OS that enables the new Material Design UI by default.The new browser interface design has been rolled out to ‘Chrome Canary’ for developers to have a look and test it out. "Plenty of things have been updated for the better in my opinion," announced Chromium Evangelist Francois Beaufort in a Google Plus post.
However, there is no official word on the public release of the new look. The browser UI, as mentioned by Beaufort, will offer new “tab shape, single tab mode, omnibox suggestion icons, tab strip coloring, pinned tabs, and alert indicators.” If you wish to use it while it is still being “actively developed” then brace yourself for a buggy experience and not to forget you would need a MacOS system to access it.
In another related new, Google has recently rolled out offline reading mode on Chrome for Android. Google Chrome can now download the relevant news articles based on your interest and location over Wi-Fi so users can access those articles later when there is a limited or no connectivity for internet. The content will only be download on unmetered and free Wi-Fi networks.
