Christmas Weekend

I worked during the day of the Eve of Christmas and then in the evening went to my aunt and uncles for a large gathering of family and friends to celebrate Christmas Eve. It was a great time full of good food, including a massive slab of beef I believe it is from Spain (bought locally). After eating we played our white elephant gift game. I'm glad I was able to win dog food for my beagle. We also enjoyed some Christmas piano music from cousin Austin who is the musician of the family and REALLY great at it.

On Christmas Day I met some family at a cousin's house for breakfast and gifts. We had a good southern breakfast haha! Not the healthiest, but it was good. After we opened presents and talked wile cousin Austin played more Christmas music on his piano. I love to bake with Danielle so this kitchen towel with my name on it was very nice among other gifts.

Later that day we went to another cousin's house for dinner and games. Everybody just loves this game we have been playing every year in recent years with a ball of candy, alcoholic beverages and other goodies wrapped in layers of plastic wrap. Each participant gets multiple turns to roll a set of dice wile another person tries to unwrap as much of the ball of candy as one can without ripping it before the person with the dice rolls doubles. In which case the dice and ball of candy are passed to the next people for their turns and around the table it goes until the ball of candy is completely unwrapped. Everyone gets to keep what they are able to unwrap. As you can see I had a good night hahaha!! Hope everyone on Steemit had a great weekend. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year :)
