Merry Christmas and a Song to Say Thank You
On the First Day of Christmas, Steemit gave to me...501 followers! Did you know that the "first day of Christmas" starts on Christmas day and goes 12 days afterward?
I did not know that, so thanks Wiki for that info. I did not, however, choose to play The 12 Days of Christmas song. Instead, I made a recording of me playing The First Noel as a way of saying thank you to all who support me.
This is one of my favorite Christmas carols and I love this arrangement by Lorie Line. I have made an animated gif of my fireplace to watch as you listen below!
Info on the Recording
For those interested in how I made this recording, I played it via MIDI into Logic Pro X. I used the software piano TrueKeys American and recorded a couple of takes until I was happy with the results, and added a bit of reverb to make it sound professional. Then exported to Soundcloud and voila! A fairly simple process to get a high-quality recording.

It's amazing what modern technology can do...I remember the days of tape recorders - much harder to get a good take and make it sound decent.

Ya, I think we like the idea of just coming out for the sole purpose of visiting and not having the stress of the migration hovering over us. April sounds great for a road trip!
