Yes it's over for this year, the famous Strasbourg Christmas market is closed since the 24th December 2017.
Once again the Strasbourg Christmas Market has attracted a lot of tourist of the whole world even if the attack are anchored int the minds. Due to that the City of Strasbourg decided to deploy an exceptional security device composed of many armed patrols but they also blocked every way to access the center of the city without being body searched. This security device has allowed the market to exist and tourists to feel safe.
The 2016 market saw its attendance increase compare to 2015 with more than 2 millions of visitors despite the Berlin Attacks.
The 2017 edition has once again attracted many tourists and hopes to have beaten previous scores
