"THAT HE WOULD GRANT YOU, according to the riches of His glory, TO BE STRENGTHENED WITH MIGHT THROUGH HIS SPIRIT IN THE INNER MAN."
Ephesians 3:16 (NKJV)

Comment: Looking at the content of Paul's prayer for the Ephesian believers from this verse 16 to 21, you will discover what the depth of every believer in God is expected to be.
a. That according to the riches of God's glory, every believer should be strengthened with might through the Holy Spirit in their inner Man (Ephesians 3:16).
b. That Christ would dwell in the heart of every believer through faith, that they would be rooted and grounded in love that was poured out in their hearts by the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 3:17; Romans 5:5).
c . That the believers would be able to comprehend with all the saints what the width and length and depth and height of Jesus' love is. In other words, that they would be able to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge.
d. That the believers would be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:19).
e. Whilst the verse no 20 of the same chapter 3 gives us the assurance that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we may ask or think, according to His power that works in us—the believers (Ephesians 3:20).

These prayers are deep and every believer ought to regularly be praying them for the self. They are the prayers that would determine your depth in God; strengthen your relationship and fellowshipping with God. Failure in the consistency of praying these prayers is a result of many believers' flimsiness or feebleness in the body of Christ today.
The prayer is about being given the might or strength by the Holy Spirit who dwells in the inner Man or the recreated human spirit of the believer. And the goal is to be filled with the fullness of God—repletion or completion or satisfaction of God (Ephesians 3:16,19).
If this would happen or take place in a believer's life, such would build a strong relationship and communion with the Holy Spirit. Acknowledging Him, asking Him to help in whatever you wanted to do (John 14:16; Romans 8:14). If this communion is successfully built which indirectly is your communion with God Himself, because the Holy Spirit is the third person in the order of Godhead; It resulted in being filled with the fullness of God. Let it be known that having the fullness of God is mainly about having a robust fellowship or communion with God.
It all started with having a consistent daily reading and studying of the Word of God, and the application of the principles gleaned from the Word in your daily life, and communion or conversing with God—making Him part of all you do throughout the day.
Note: It is in the application of the Word that many believers are having problems, be pratical, apply or do the Word (James 1:22-25). Start now!
Peace .
