GIVING: A MOTIVATIONAL GIFT OF GOD THE FATHER 2

5 SO WE, BEING MANY, ARE ONE BODY IN CHRIST, AND INDIVIDUALLY MEMBERS OF ONE ANOTHER.
6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if PROPHECY, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith;
7 or MINISTRY, let us use it in our ministering; he who TEACHES, in teaching;
8 he who EXHORTS, in exhortation; he who GIVES, with liberality; he who LEADS, with diligence; he who shows MERCY, with cheerfulness.
9 LET LOVE BE WITHOUT HYPOCRISY. ABHOR WHAT IS EVIL. CLING TO WHAT IS GOOD."
Romans 12:5-9 (NKJV)

• God wants to pour a new wine and He is looking for the New wine skins to pour the wine (Luke 5:37,38). And until you make yourself a new wine skin, you are not ready for the blessings.

• How to make yourself available as a new wine skin:
  I. By being faithful.
• If you are faithful with what you are having now, you have proved to Him that you can be trusted with more resources. He will put more in your hands (Matthew 25:14-27).
• However, If you were not faithful in your commitment to God in what you are having presently, being blessed the more would be a mirage. God will not release more but rather take the one you think you have had (Matthew 13:12; 25:28,29).
• God is profit conscious, He would not waste His resources on whoever would not use it for His intended purpose (Matthew 25:27).

II. Having a right heart (2 Chronicles 16:9).

• Giving with a right heart means Giving with love. Not because you wanted to show off or prove to other believers that you are a good person; but just to be a blessing to others (Genesis 12:2).
• You give because you love God, and wanted to obey what He said in His Word, the Bible, about Giving.
• God wants to commit wealth to those who have a perfect heart, mature heart—a heart of love, both for His Kingdom and His people.
• Make yourself available. He wants to use you as a blessing to others and His work on the earth (Job 29:12,13,15,16; Luke 8:1-3).

III. Faith.

• Without faith you cannot please God (Hebrews 11:6). Someone who has been Giving by faith is a potential candidate to be blessed the more, and be used for the blessing of others.
• If you are not giving by faith, you cannot please God. You can be wearied in Giving and might want to give up If you are not Giving by faith (Galatians 6:7).
• If you are wearied in Giving, It means you have fainted, and you might not receive the returns, or the rewards, or the harvest, you are expecting.
• If you did not Give by faith, you might murmur or complain, but complaints and murmurs will kill the seed you had sown.
• You will murmur if the results tarried, because the Giving is not by faith to begin with.
• Faith and love are of the Spirit; and you cannot Give impulsively, or by being fleshly-ruled, It will not work.When you give by faith, expect a Return (Luke 6:38).

• The reason why some do not receive the returns or harvests in their Givings.

• Some give but could not get or receive any harvest because of pride. This is common to Business people or those who are financially comfortable, especially those who work hard.
• Such people get uncomfortable and embarrassed If someone gives to them. But this is wrong, it amounted to pride in the sight of God. It takes humility to receive gifts from others, especially if you are a bit comfortable.
• You wanted to believe that you do not need the the help of whoever wants to give to you, after all, you are not begging for the person's help or assistance. Why would the person wants to give to you? Thus, you become uncomfortable when someone offered to help or Give you a GIFT.
• Mostly, the only means through which God blesses such people is through their businesses. Otherwise, they become uncomfortable when someone offered them a gift or help.
• God is the Source and Giver of all things, He wanted you to be humble enough to Give and also know how to humbly receive when you are given a gift or blessed by another person.
• If God chooses to bless you with someone who is not as blessed or financially buoyant as you are or as comfortable as you are materially; appreciate the gift or whatever the person has given you, and thank God for it.
• Not only on money or material things. God could choose to minister to you—who believed or had the notion in himself or herself that you are a spiritual Giant—using someone who is just coming up in the faith.
• Some people, even some ministers, cannot listen and be blessed by someone they considered to be lesser, or a subordinate, to them in the faith.
• If you are having the heart to give, and you did give, but had pride in you, as per, the way to receive or who should be used to bless you back or not, in Return; you might not be able to receive all that God wanted you to receive or have as the Harvest of your Giving.
• Most usually, God blesses whoever gives through what they do for living, however, you should not box-in God regarding the way or means through which He should bless you back, or whom He should use, after you had given.
• Do not rigidly determined that the returns of your Givings should be through your business, the salary you earn, or any other way of your normal income. God at times can bless you in Return through the unusual ways you are least expected which you do not know about!
• God also can use anyone to give or bless you with what you needed, it is not necessarily that you get it with your money.

• Learn to appreciate small gifts.

• If you wanted to be a good Giver, or you wanted to live Giving, you have to develop it.
• Likewise, If you wanted to receive or have returns on your Givings, you also have to develop it. The grace to receive harvests on your Givings is about appreciating God.
• Thank God for every gift or whatever you have received, in appreciation for His love and goodness. Nothing should be too minute or small to be appreciated, or thank Him for.
  WHEN you thank God for those things you considered to be small or little, more and greater things would be given to you.
• Do not limit God thinking He could only provide through your business, or the salary you earn. He can meet your needs through any means He sees right.

• You will not fail in Jesus' name.

• If there is any ailment in your body, I declare your healing now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
• The hold completely broken and never to rise again in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

STEPS TO SALVATION
• Take notice of this:
IF you are yet to take the step of salvation, that is, yet to be born-again, do it now, tomorrow might be too late (2 Corinthians 6:1,2; Hebrews 3:7,8,15).
a. Acknowledge that you are a sinner and confess your Sins (1 John 1:9); And ask Jesus Christ to come into your life (Revelation 3:20).
b. Confess that you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you confess it with your mouth, Thus, you accept Him As your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10).
c. Ask that He will write your name in the Book of Life (Philippians 4:3; Revelation 3:8).

• If you took the steps As highlighted above, It means you are saved—born-again. Join a Word based church in your area and Town or city, and be part of whatever they are doing there. Peace!
