Promotion according to the English dictionary is the action of promoting someone or something to a higher position or rank or the fact of being so promoted. The key factor for a person to move to a more important rank in an organization depends entirely on your attitude to whatever task you do and God.
According to God's word, he expects us to work heartily at whatever we do, that is, doing it from our heart and mind. We should do whatever we set out to do as if we do it for God and not man. We should work because as believers, Jesus watches us. Why should we do so you may ask?
It is because we need to understand that it is from the Lord we would receive our real reward. Promotion is of the Lord and when God is set to bless and lift you up, and nothing can stop it. Even your boss heart which you think to be wicked can be turned around to love and appreciate you, because the heart of man is in God's hands. See to it therefore as a believer that in everything you do and in your place of work that your service isn't unto man but unto the Lord and you will do well.
