Who Receives Salvation?

오늘은 '구원을 얻는 믿는 자는 누구인가?'라는 제목으로 한번 생각해보도록 하겠습니다.
I would like to talk about who receives salvation out of all these faithful Christians.

"하나님이 세상을 이처럼 사랑하사 독생자를 주셨으니 이는 그를 믿는 자마다 멸망하지 않고 영생을 얻게 하려 하심이라" 요한복음 3: 16 말씀입니다.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." The famous John 3: 16.

이 구절은 어릴 적 교회에 가면 자주 부르는 어린이 찬송가가 바로 이 구절을 엮어서 부른 것입니다.
This verse is often used in children's gospels and songs.

그리고 영성을 얻는 구원의 근거가 바로 위의 말씀이라고 귀에 못이 박히도록 여러분이 들어왔을 것입니다.
"And this is the proof of salvation." You probably heard this many times before.

그래서 우리는 하나님께서 이 약속의 말씀을 주신 것을 기뻐하고 안심하고 즐거워하면서 교회 마당을 밟고 있죠.
So people gladly go to church, believing in God's promise that he will give whatever we ask.

그러나 대다수의 교인들은 구원을 얻는 하나님의 자녀라고 하기에는 아무런 영적 증거가 없이 무능하고 무기력하게 살아가고 있습니다.
But for some reason, most Christians live without the Holy Spirit leading them; their lives are full of misery.

세상 사람들과 다를 바 없이 건조하고 공허한 영혼으로 고단하고 팍팍하게 살아가고 있습니다.
They are not too different from the non-believers.

그래서 오늘은 믿는 자의 조건이 어떤 믿음을 말하는지 찬찬히 살펴보도록 하겠습니다.
So let's talk about what faith really is, and what God sees in people.

요한복음 3장 16절을 포함해서 요한복음 3장은 구원을 얻는 믿음에 대해 차근차근 설명하고 있습니다.
John talks about the faith that receives salvation throughout the whole chapter.

그래서 이 말씀의 앞뒤에서 구원을 얻는 믿음을 설명하는 구절을 올려 드릴게요.
So let me give you some verses explaining about faith you need for your salvation.

"예수께서 대답하시되 진실로 진실로 네게 이르노니 사람이 물과 성령으로 나지 아니하면 하나님의 나라에 들어갈 수 없느니라" 역시 요한복음 3: 5 말씀이죠.
John 3: 5 says, "Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit."

"그를 믿는 자는 심판을 받지 아니하는 것이요 믿지 아니하는 자는 하나님의 독생자의 이름을 믿지 아니하므로 벌써 심판을 받은 것이니라 그 정죄는 이것이니 곧 빛이 세상에 왔으되 사람들이 자기 행위가 악하므로 빛보다 어둠을 더 사랑한 것이니라 악을 행하는 자마다 빛을 미워하여 빛으로 오지 아니하나니 이는 그 행위가 드러날까 함이요" 요한복음 3: 18-20 말씀입니다.
In John 3: 18-20, "Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed."

위의 구절들은 1분짜리 영접기도를 통해 구원을 얻는 믿음의 근거로 삼는 요한복음 3:16 말씀의 앞뒤에서 이를 부연 설명하는 말씀이죠.
These verses are usually used to support as proofs of faith through accepting Jesus as savior.

그러나 앞뒤 어디에도 구원을 얻는 믿음의 근거가, 스스로 믿음을 확신하는 자기 확신이라고 말하는 대목은 없어요.
But nothing in theses verses say the proof of salvation is self-assurance.

위에서는 물과 성령으로 다시 태어난 성령의 사람이 천국에 들어가는 자격이라고 말씀하고 있으며, 뒤에서는 철저하게 자신의 죄를 회개하고 날마다 죄와 피터지게 싸우는 사람들이 예수 그리스도를 빛으로 인정하는 믿음이라고 말하고 있죠.
The verses say that you need to be born of water and Spirit in order to enter Heaven, and people who fight against the darkness are the ones that accept Jesus as the light.

그러나 우리네 교회에서는 이런 앞뒤의 구절을 쏙 빼버리고, 자기 확신과 자기암시를 구원을 얻는 믿음이라고 가르치고 있으니 기이한 일입니다.
But churches today take these words out from the sermons, and tell people that they would be saved as long as the believe they would be saved.

이는 미혹의 영이 우리네 교회지도자의 머리를 타고앉아서 자신들의 생각을 넣어주어 속이고 있기 때문입니다.
It the spirit of falsehood at work. They sit on top of pastors' heads and put these thoughts and mislead everyone.

그래서 전혀 성경적이지 않는, 심리적인 자기 확신을 구원을 얻는 믿음이라고 가르치고 있어요. 기가 막히는 일입니다.
And they say you need to believe you are saved. This is not biblical at all.

그래서 성경에서 말하는 믿는 자는 어떤 사람인지 다른 구절들을 찾아서 올려 드릴게요.
Let me find other passages in the Bible that talks about people of true faith.

"나를 믿는 자는 성경에 이름과 같이 그 배에서 생수의 강이 흘러나오리라 하시니 이는 그를 믿는 자들이 받을 성령을 가리켜 말씀하신 것이라" 요한복음 7: 38-39 말씀입니다.
In John 7: 38-39, "Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them." By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified."

"내가 진실로 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 나를 믿는 자는 내가 하는 일을 그도 할 것이요 또한 그보다 큰 일도 하리니 이는 내가 아버지께로 감이라" 요한복음 14: 12 말씀입니다.
John 14: 12 says, "Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father."

"믿는 자들에게는 이런 표적이 따르리니 곧 그들이 내 이름으로 귀신을 쫓아내며 새 방언을 말하며 뱀을 집어올리며 무슨 독을 마실지라도 해를 받지 아니하며 병든 사람에게 손을 얹은즉 나으리라 하시더라" 마가복음 16: 17-18 말씀입니다.
Mark 16: 17-18 says, "And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well."

먼저 위의 구절에서, 예수님은 믿는 자는 그 배에서 생수의 강이 넘쳐나야 한다고 말씀하고 계시죠.
Jesus said the people who believe in him should have rivers of living water will flow from within them.

바로 이어서 그 생수가 바로 성령이라고 확인하고 계십니다. 그렇다면 성령이 안에 계셔서 내주하시는 사람이 바로 믿는 자인 셈이죠.
And the rivers mean the Holy Spirit. So he speaks about people who have the Holy Spirit within them; they are the true people of faith.

이는 물과 성령으로 다시 태어나는 성령의 사람이 천국에 들어가는 자격을 얻게 된다는 요한복음 3장 5절의 말씀과 일치하고 있습니다.
It is similar in context of John 3: 5, which states that the ones who enter Heaven is the one born of water and Spirit.

두 번째 구절에서는 믿는 자는 예수님이 하신 일을 하게 될 것임을 말씀하고 계시죠. 그렇다면 예수님은 무슨 일을 하셨습니까?
The second verse states that believer of Jesus would do what he had done. What did Jesus do?

"이르시되 너희는 가서 저 여우에게 이르되 오늘과 내일은 내가 귀신을 쫓아내며 병을 고치다가 제삼일에는 완전하여지리라 하라"(눅13:32)
It says in Luke 13: 32, "He replied, “Go tell that fox, ‘I will keep on driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach my goal.'"

예수님의 공생애 사역은 귀신을 쫓아내고 질병을 고치시는 기적과 이적으로 자신이 하나님의 사람임을 드러내셨으며, 마침내 우리의 죄를 대신하여 십자가에서 보혈을 흘려주심으로 구원을 얻는 문을 열어주셨죠.
While he was on Earth, Jesus drove out demons, healed people, and proved that he was son of God. Then he opened the Heaven's door by putting himself on the cross for our sins.

그렇다면 예수님을 믿는 사람이라면 무슨 일을 해야 할 것인가요?
Then what should we do, as believer of Jesus Christ?

성령의 능력을 받아 귀신을 쫓아내며 질병을 고치면서 영혼 구원을 하는 사역을 하고 있어야 할 것입니다.
We should carry out God's will by driving out demons, heal people, and save souls with the power given by the Holy Spirit.

그래서 예수님은 믿는 자의 표적으로 귀신을 쫓아내고 질병을 고치는 영적 능력을 드러내야 할 것이라고 단호하게 말씀하셨죠.
That is why Jesus said these signs (chasing demons and healing people) should follow the true believers.

그래서 당신은 위에서 말씀하신 믿는 자의 조건에 부합하고 있습니까?
So... do you meet the qualification Jesus listed?

작금의 우리네 교회에서는 귀신을 쫓아내거나 고질병을 고치는 성령의 능력을 무시하고 폄훼하면서, 예수님을 믿는다고 시인하는 1분짜리 영접기도에 아멘 하기만 하면 구원을 얻는 믿음이 있다고 가르치고 있으니 기가 막히는 일입니다.
Churches today ignores the signs Jesus spoke and teach people they have faith and will receive salvation if they recite the minute-long acceptance prayer.

그러나 이는 미혹의 영이 우리네 교회지도자의 머리를 타고앉아서 속이고 있는 현상입니다.
But this is the deed of the demons, sitting on top of pastors' head, putting misleading thoughts into their minds.

그래서 삯꾼목자들은 성경을 자의적으로 해석하고 비틀어서 아전인수식으로 가르치고 있어요.
So these so-called pastors interpret the Bible in their own way and preach that.

왜냐면 자신들에게 성령의 능력이 없다는 것을 인정하고 싶지 않으며, 그동안 1분짜리 영접기도를 하면 죄가 구원을 얻는 믿음이 있다고 가르쳐 왔기 때문이죠.
They do so because they don't want to admit that the Holy Spirit is not with them. And they've been teaching that 'acceptance prayer theory' all this time.

성령께서는 제게 대부분의 우리네 교회지도자들이 미혹의 영에 속고 있다고 말씀하시면서, 대부분의 우리네 교인들이 미혹의 영에 지배하고 있다고 말씀해주셨어요.
The Holy Spirit once told me that most churches and the leaders these days are manipulated by demons.

그래서 예수님이 성경에 명백하게 말씀하신 내용을 교묘하게 비틀거나, 다른 구절을 자의적으로 해석하여 짜깁기하여 물 타기를 하고 있습니다.
They interpret what Jesus had said according to however they want, and they scrap and take only the passages that are useful for their interpretation.

"또 여기 있다 저기 있다고도 못하리니 하나님의 나라는 너희 안에 있느니라" 누가복음 17: 21 말씀이죠.
"Nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is in your midst," says in Luke 17: 21.

"그러나 내가 하나님의 성령을 힘입어 귀신을 쫓아내는 것이면 하나님의 나라가 이미 너희에게 임하였느니라" 마태복음 12: 28 말씀입니다.
"But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you." says in Matthew 12: 28.

"하나님의 나라는 말에 있지 아니하고 오직 능력에 있음이라" 고린도전서 4: 20 말씀이예요.
And in 1 Corinthians 4: 20 , "For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power."

예수님은 하나님의 나라(천국)는 우주의 어느 한쪽에 건설한 신도시가 아니라, 하나님이 다스리고 통치하는 곳이면 어디에나 하나님의 나라가 이루어진다고 말씀하고 계십니다.
Jesus said that the kingdom of God is not some country somewhere in this universe; the kingdom of God is wherever God rules and reigns.

그래서 우리 안에 성령이 들어오셔서 통치하시면 하나님의 나라(천국)가 이루어진다고 하셨으며, 그 증거가 바로 성령의 능력을 드러내면서 귀신을 쫓아내면서 영혼을 구원하는 사역을 하고 있어야 한다고 말씀하시고 계십니다.
So if the Holy Spirit comes to us and dwells within us, we are the kingdom of God. The sign of chasing away demons and healing people will follow, and the people who receive that power should carry out God's will as their ministries.

그러나 어찌된 일인지 우리네 교회에서는, 이렇게 성경에 수도 없이 도배한 말씀을 비틀어서 새빨간 거짓말을 진리라고 가르치고 있으니 기가 막히는 일입니다.
But sadly, churches today teach all the lies and distorted interpretations as true gospel.

그러므로 여러분이 성령의 능력을 받아 이들이 미혹의 영을 받아 삯꾼 목자인지 참목자인지 분별하지 못한다면 영원한 지옥의 불길에 던져지게 될 것입니다.
So you must receive the power of the Holy Spirit and be able to distinguish the truth from false; if you cannot, there is no doubt that you would be thrown out to Hell.
