When Leah saw that she had left bearing, she took Zilpah her maid, and gave her Jacob to wife. And Zilpah Leah's maid bare Jacob a son. And Leah said, A troop cometh: and she called his name Gad. And Zilpah Leah's maid bare Jacob a second son. And Leah said, Happy am I,for the daughters will call me blessed: and she called his name Asher. Genesis:30:9-13

Introduction

Immediately Leah saw that the advantage had moved to her sister as a result of the fact that she left bearing, she woke up from her convenient place and fought back. It is important to point out that the environment in Jacob's house must have been highly tensed largely because he married two sisters, which created a heated rivalry amongst them. This was what informed their actions and resulted in the back and forth shift of Jacob's attention though the process of child bearing i.e. prayer. We can therefore conclude by stating that apart from the fact that we are required to pray at all times, some people probably need to pray and possibly fast more than others because their ancestry
was given to idol worship or other kinds of ungodly acts, which invariably will have adverse
effect on the family at large unless they stand and enforce the finished work of Calvary. When Leah eventually noticed that the attention had shifted back to Rachel, it made her wake up and she responded immediately by giving her own maid to Jacob, who had two sons, Gad and Asher respectively. This infers that she went back to the place of prayer and
the attention began to shift back in her favor, which was why she declared she was happy.
Have you been in a state of unhappiness as a result of your own negligence and carelessness? As you move back into a place of prayer, whatever you have lost will return to you and happiness will return to your life in Jesus Name. Did you look of a child for so
long and by the time you eventually gave birth your happiness was short lived as a result of
a sickness? As you pray, the condition shall be reversed in Jesus Name.

Prayer

Father I ask that YOU open my eyes to notice the things that I have left that made me what I am in Jesus Name. Father, I ask for the grace to enable me return to the place of fasting and prayer in Jesus Name. I reverse that condition in my child's life that has stolen my happiness in Jesus Name. I declare that situation in my marriage that led to my unhappiness is reversed in Jesus Name.
