It’s Ironic That If Jesus Were American He’d Not Have Been Eligible To Run For President

The United States is a country founded upon the enlightenment principles of freedom, peace and equality. Jesus was instrumental in popularizing these revolutionary ideas.

Jesus may have been the most admired person in history among the Founding Fathers, especially to Jefferson. (Although most were deists, they greatly admired Jesus’s teachings and used them as a foundation for how to live a meaningful life.)
This leads to a major irony. Jesus did not live long enough to be president. He died at 33, and you need to be at least 35 to be eligible to run for president. It is ironic that a country founded on Jesus’ principles would have not allowed him to be president.
