The Return 0f The King

The book of revelation tells about the last days of this age; man’s age is almost over, as my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ will fulfill His promise to His people, to return and to rule and reign in our hearts, our minds, and literally in the earth!

He is coming back to defeat evil, satan and his devils, the darkness must be dwelt with, for we have shown that we are unable to defeat sin and evil. This is the source of our hope, the reason that we are able to deal with life, knowing that the Lord watches over us, protects us and guides us, and that one day, everything that we see going on in the world will not last forever. His love and His power enables us to the works that He requires that we do for His mercy’s sake.

Why is it necessary for His people to know what is coming in the near future? We need to know that God has a plan for this world and for his people. We need to know that there is a final solution for sin and evil, and we need to know that every tear we have shed and every pain that we have felt was not in vain; He will deliver us from the darkness and the chaos and the instigators of this evil will be punished!

Yes, The Day of The Lord will come, and there will be ‘weeping and gnashing of teeth’, for the people who refuse to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, but we as the people of God will not have to fear the end times. We need to keep following Jesus by reading the bible, by prayer and worship in His presence, by surrendering our hearts and minds to Him, to allow Him to transform us into ambassadors for Christ, fully committed to hearing, believing and living according to the Word of God. The most important thing that we must do is to keep believing in HIm, no matter what happens in the world, NEVER GIVE UP ON GOD!

The book of Revelation was written to help God’s people have hope for the future and to show how the Lord would bring this age to an end, but it is also a warning for those who have not committed themselves to God’s will for their lives. We need to read revelation to show that we are aware of what is coming and to tell others about the end. They need to know because too many people are in denial about the state that the world is in and their own personal sin.

God has a plan to save his people before that Day of the Lord comes, He will protect us while we live here right now, and He will deliver us from His wrath, when He takes His church from the earth before the time of tribulation begins. When you read the book of Revelation, you will notice that the church is not mentioned directly during the time of the tribulation. You read what will happen to the people on the earth during this time, the judgements that God brings upon the earth.

You see how all of those people who are left behind go through real struggles, and that many of them decide to become followers of Christ. Many of them will suffer greatly. Many of them will lose their lives because they refuse to recant their profession of faith in Jesus Christ. These are the people that did not believe before the tribulation time; many will believe and die as martyrs for Jesus Christ.

The rest of the people still on the earth will refuse to believe in Jesus Christ; no matter how they suffer, no matter how many signs that they see in the sky, no matter what happens in the lives of those who believe, and there will be mighty signs, wonders and miracles that will happen during this time, they will not believe because they do not want God, or is His son, Jesus Christ.

These are the people who believe that they don’t need Jesus or His free gift of salvation. They want to go their own way, they want to believe the deception that the antichrist and his false prophet will give to them. They will surrender their hearts and minds to the darkness and the chaos. They will believe that it is the christians that are the problem, and they will consent to have all christians rounded up, tortured and killed.

Hope will only survive in the hearts of those who will be willing to believe in Jesus Christ and be willing to give their lives for Him. The tribulation time is not for the people who choose to believe in Him right now.

Revelation chapter 19 11-16

The Heavenly Warrior Defeats the Beast

11 I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war. 12 His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. 13 He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. 14 The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.”[a] He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. 16 On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:

king of kings and lord of lords.
