The Best Way to Get Wealth (Part 2)
What is the best way to get true, lasting wealth? The Bible says in Proverbs 13:11 that the best way is to earn or create it “little by little”. Some commentators say that it means “by the hand”.
The point here is that, as we discussed in Part 1 of this series, trying to get rich quick “overnight” through various schemes doesn’t work...especially for the Christian! It’s through consistent and persistent work day in and day out that wealth is created...and this is exactly the way it is with Steemit!
As it says on the Steemit FAQ:
“Steemit is not a ‘get rich quick’ scheme. While it is possible to post content that goes viral quickly and earn a lot of rewards on a single post, this is not typical for most users.
Most of the authors that you see earning high rewards are users that have spent a lot of time in the network building followings, making connections with others, and developing a reputation for bringing high quality content.
It is best to have realistic expectations, without focusing on rewards when you are first starting out. Work on building a following, making connections, and developing a good reputation. Consistency will pay off in the long run.”
This sounds like what is meant by “...money gathered little by little will grow” (Proverbs 13:11(b), EXB).
So Steemit looks like a good way to build wealth, right? Right! Just get in there and be consistent and persistent, no matter what it looks like, by FAITH: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1, KJV)
Steem on!

Hebrews 11:1 has nothing to do with building wealth.
Hi @barncat. I like to apply God's word to every aspect of my life when I can, so this verse has helped me to hang in there and persist with whatever it is; but maybe that's just me. Thanks for the comment!
