The Strategy of FAITH

Where is your FAITH positioned on? Is it on Yourself? On the seed? Or on the Almighty God?

Many times as Christians we have a misconception on faith. In this bible verse Jesus says that if only our faith is as small as the mustard seed, everything is possible. This is what Jesus said and it must be true. The bible says that God’s word is flawless, meaning it has no mistake, it is PERFECT. And it also says that ‘heaven and earth may pass away but God’s words will never pass away. That means, His promises to us is valid, it’s true and it’s trustworthy. So the question here is not ‘Do we have faith’ but the question we should ask ourselves is ‘Where do we place our faith?’

Do we place our faith on ourselves? On our talents and ability? Or even on our riches and gold? We know that we are not so great! We fall flat on our face sometimes because of some wrong decisions. We are weak beings and we will never be like God who is Almighty, All Knowing and Always Everywhere. Our abilities and wisdom is limited unless we yield to God and depend on His wisdom and strength. So here we know that if we place our faith on ourselves it’s really not gonna help us go far and it limits us to be the best we ought to be.

Secondly, is our faith placed on the seed? Is our faith place on the things of this world? On our bank accounts or the riches we have accumulated. Or on people that we think will never let us down? Well, people always let people down even our very close family members and spouse let’s us down many times. Are we placing our faith on our job? Well, many people have lost their jobs when the economy is not doing well. In all this we know that we can’t put our faith on the seed because this are all temporary. Everything of this world is temporal except God and His everlasting love for us.

Therefore, we need to place our faith on the Almighty God, our Abba Father that loves us for who we are. When we place our faith upon God we know that He is in control of all things. The Bible has shown us that miracles after miracles took place because God is in control of it. Water turned into wine, the woman who suffered from bleeding for many years were healed, Lazarus was raised form the dead. Even in the darkest moments in our lives, have faith in God because He can change it to light. He is in control of all things and our lives are written by Him. He is the author and the prefector of our lives. The bible says can worry make things better? Of cause not, worry only makes us feel worst and we fall into believing in the enemy's lies that we are not good enough or we are not worthy and so on. Let us take our eyes of ourselves and the temporary things of this world and let us start to look up at God the creator and the author of the whole of mankind. For He loves us eternally and it's only through Him we can be the at peace and bring out the best in us. I pray that this finds you well today. Amen.
