Beautiful And Encouraging Bible Verse For Beautiful Steemit Community Members
This is one of my favorite verses from the Bible, which reminds me that there is my Creator, the Almighty God - Creator of the universe and my little self, who is always there for me in good and in bad times, in sorrow and in happiness, He is there for me whenever I need Him. He is the only one who really understands me, my struggles, my troubles, my joy, and my everyday life.
I thank Him, my God - the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob- for opening up to me so that I could find out who He really is, his grace, and his loving nature, and build a relationship with the Creator of everything.
“Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”

Yes, and the meaning is similar in that the rest can be found in God, and we are lucky to have him in our lives.

The NLT is a wonderful translation, because its in plain modern English.
When we first give ourselves to Christ, a lot of old dead emotional and spiritual weight comes off, so following Christ becomes so joyful. the rest he gives come from no longer spiritually striving, and just living in freedom from being in relationship with god because of his forgiveness.
