Tough Question

Being a Christian isn't easy, much more being a Radical kind of Christian. It isn't as smooth sailing as others think it is. Like the most ideas built by the masses that life is just a simple walk in the park just because we have a close relationship with the maker or in another sense just walking in abundance and hurdling challenges like it's nothing. All the perks that you could imagine does not even come close to the full description of what it really means in being a follower of Jesus.

You see,

Many people just won't get you. Literally. They won't get..
Why you decide on something that a typical person wouldn't even consider as an option to choose. Why most of the time we cry, laugh and act like a crazy person when we worship God, or feel guilty on things we did that for mundane people think is just the new trend or part of the evolving norm of the society. Others just won't grasp the thought why often times we choose pain not literally hurting ourselves or whatsoever over temporary happiness, why we choose the hard way over the simpler paths. Even choosing to suffer and wait patiently over just grabbing what's in front of us already, thinking that there's something greater ahead.

We face battles that others wouldn't even completely understand, why we're going against something, when we can simply befriend the enemy to get the easy way around and not bother struggling at all. Many wonder if our screws are loose when we start talking about JESUS and passionately sharing the gospel to strangers. Often times we even hear those closest to us say "You are taking this Jesus thing too seriously." And boy does it ring a bell to every Christian people truly serving God. It just pushes a button that triggers our very own soul to gear up for a pretty long list we're about to recite on why we do really take our relationship with JESUS seriously. First, just to clarify my friend, JESUS isn't a thing. Second, 'too serious' is just the right word I am looking for. In all honesty, there are days where we take that phrase and ask that same question people are asking us. Why do we take it too seriously? Why do you take it seriously? Or have I ever really been truly serious about JESUS?

To answer that I'll leave it to you. You among all people can answer that question because it's your relationship with JESUS. I have been asking myself that as well and everyday God gives me more than enough reasons why. And that's why until today I journey this life with Him, knowing that beyond all the questions the greatest answer He can give is Himself.
