Mass Hysteria
The moment you were thinking of reading the original version of the book Henny Penny to your children today to teach them about the dangers of mass hysteria and then you are reminded instead to teach them about Christ’s love because it is only through knowing Him that fear faints into faith and peace comes. Parenting wisdom from above-God knew I needed to be redirected.

Amen! Thank you for sharing. I actually didn't get the reference to Henny Penny, so I looked up what it was. In the U.S. where I am the story is known as Chicken Little. I haven't thought of that story in years, but it's true that if our trust isn't in the Lord, we are bound to feel that way if we run out of things to distract us. Without getting our direction first from the Lord and trusting in it, we're lost and feel that way too. We feel at peace, though, when we remember that He's in control! God bless!
