One ruler above all,
He who judges the ones that fall.
The son will arrive very soon,
The head of the body
Giving signs in Sun and Moon.

I want to live in the world of tomorrow;
A world free from derision,
A world free from sorrow.

Faith, hope and love,
The new Jerusalem will come down from up above.
Hold fast to what you have,
That is the good and not the bad.
No need longing for the past.

He will wipe away all tears,
We will reign with Christ a thousand years,
He does calm all our fears.

Take strength in the knowledge
Of a two thousand year old promise.
No longer a far away dream,
