It's more complicated than that. The evangelical church is approximately 3-2 female. Often the wife is a believer but the husband is not. Or the wife is more spiritually mature than the husband. Or the husband refuses to lead.
Thats why believers are advised not to be equally yoked with unbelievers 2corinthians 6:14 KJV
