Why faith

What is faith? Why is faith so important?
Faith is considered a virtue of men, faith is what we expect to happen in the future. We all have faith. Every day, when we made any decision, the decision is made based on our faith, or expectation of the future. If one believes that nothing of significance will happen, that in itself, is faith. For example, if you have 2/3 of your tank empty, when you pass the gas station, you are thinking whether or not refill your tank. How do you make your decision? If you believe the gas price will drop tomorrow, you may pass; on the other hand, if you believe the price will rise tomorrow, you might fill your tank today. Human behavior is driven by expectation. People are always forward-looking.

But the biggest question is what do we do with our lives is often left unanswered. Two other very related questions are where do we come from and where are we going.
If we believed that we come from someone who created the world. Like C. S. Lewis stated, that someone cannot be part of the world. He who created the world cannot be part of the world. This means he is outside of the world that we know of. He can only be reached by faith.

We need to make decisions about how to live our life. That decision is driven by faith, and only by faith.
