And when Rachel saw that she bare Jacob no children, Rachel envied her sister; and said unto Jacob,Give me children,or else I die. And Jacob's anger was kindled against Rachel: and he said, Am I in God's stead, who hath withheld from thee the fruit of the womb? And she said, Behold my maid Bilhah, go in unto her; and she shall bear upon my knees, that I may also have children by her. And she gave him Bilhah her handmaid to wife: and Jacob went in unto her. And Bilhah conceived, and bare Jacob a son. And Rachel said, God hath judged me,and hath also heard my voice,and hath given me a son: therefore called she his
name Dan. And Bilhah Rachel's maid conceived again, and bare Jacob a second son. And Rachel said,With great wrestlings have I wrestled with my sister, and I have prevailed: and she called his name Naphtali.
Genesis 30:1-8

Introduction

Just as Leah eventually realized or SAW that she had left bearing as highlighted in the preceding
prayer, Rachel as stated in our text also SAW that she was barren. I believe it was not because
she just realized that she was barren but it had more to do with the fact that Jacob's attention had
shifted from her to Leah as a result of Leah bearing children.This is what made her to SEE that
she was barren. Her initial reaction was to complain and moan about her situation, which yielded
no result apart from Jacob's anger.This is why she resorted to giving her maid to Jacob in a bid to
counter her sister. Many of us are also guilty of moaning and complaining when things are not
going our way instead of dealing with it in a place of prayer. Some of us even go the extent of
saying that if God loved us we would not be in our present predicament. Let us quit complaining but take our situation to God in prayers. When Rachel gave her maid to Jacob, she conceived and gave birth to a son and called his name Dan. But she didn't stop there; she proceeded further allowing her maid to have the second child for Jacob and called his name Naphtali. For she said it was with GREAT WRESTLING she had wrestled her sister and she has prevailed. This means she did not deal with the issue with laxity but took the matter headlong with GREAT WRESTLING
and she got back what she had lost. It was at this point Leah SAW that she had left bearing
because the attention had shifted back to Rachel.This therefore means that there are things we
have lost that will require GREAT WRESTLING to get them back. Have you in recent times lost
your promotion to a colleague who recently joined the organization? Have you lost your business
to your business partner? As you engaged God in prayer with GREAT WRESTLING using HIS
Word, I declare whatever you have lost shall be returned to you in Jesus Name.

Prayer

Father, I ask for the strength to engage in GREAT WRESTLING as I recover all that the enemy
has stolen from me in Jesus Name. I declare I recover my business that was stolen from me in
Jesus Name. I recover my child's health from sickness in Jesus Name. I recover my spouse in
Jesus Name. I recover my job in Jesus Name
