LIVING FROM THE JURISDICTION OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD–BEING IN THE WORLD BUT NOT OF IT.
I believe Scripture teaches that we must live and preach the Gospel of the Kingdom with revelation of jurisdiction to be Christ’s ambassadors (2 Cor. 5:20). Being in the world but not of it. From the solid foundation of the jurisdiction of Heaven we have authority to decree: the gospel, repentance, and the Lordship of Christ over all geophysical, social, economic, political, relational, and religious upheaval in this generation.
Without the revelation of jurisdiction and identity, as ambassadors representing Christ, we will find ourselves minimized and lacking the authority in the Spirit to really make a difference in this generation. Why? Because mixture and compromise with the world will neuter our power and domesticate us into passivity. Remember, “They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” Rev. 12:11 Don't let the fire of your passion for Christ be snuffed out, being relegated to a “lukewarm” Christian. (Rev. 3:14)
Wake up! We are in turbulent times where the Lord is looking for devoted hearts and voices to be His messengers. His messengers, His ambassadors are the voices of ones crying in the wilderness to make the crooked ways straight. We are giving people a fighting chance to repent and come out of idolatry, greed, and delusion of the cosmos (world systems/orders) to fidelity in Christ. As messengers, embrace contentment knowing that only a remnant will respond to the message of Christ’s love. Nonetheless, we will not be silenced or bulled.
It is time to be the difference, our only hope and life is Christ. Will you surrender to the call of the King?
“And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves. I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.” Jn. 17:13-19
