If its written it must be done
Many times in life we come across the situation where if it is written it must be done. We have contracts in everything from telephones to real estate closings. Keeping the written word has always been held to a high standard.
Luke 24: Jesus opened their minds to the scriptures and kept emphasizing what has been written must be fulfillled. These were prophesies and written promises.
When you read the bible you should not read the promises from God as suggestions or just writings but promises that you can rely on.
Having things in writing also helps avoid miscommunication and creates a higher level of accountability and helps us remember just from the act of putting it on paper.
