THE PRESENT DAY MINISTRY OF JESUS (Part two).

Let's continue briefly from where we stopped yesterday.

[3]Jesus is seated as our intercessor, thereby, making intercession for us.

Romans 8:34 KJV
[34]Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

Hebrews 7:25 KJV
[25] Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

The intercession of Jesus Christ for believers is different from that which was practiced by those in the old covenant. When some of us hear intercession, what comes to our minds is that Jesus is having a fasting and prayer session before the Father every day, noon and night! But that cannot be true.

For example , a believer probably fell into sin, and then Jesus would now start Praying ; Father forgive ....... , for he has just sinned now. Have mercy on Him. And then as He is rounding off that prayer , 12 other believers fell again , He starts another prayer session! This doesn't make the least bit of sense!

So how then is Jesus interceding for us? His intercession is in/by His blood, His life. His sitting on the mercy seat is the intercession!. He has completed the work of redemption, you are the one who needs to see what He has done and apply yourself to it. If you fall into sin, rise up from there seeing that His blood has cleansed you. If you are sick, command the sickness to leave and it will IN HIS NAME. If you are going through any kind of difficulty, See Jesus helping you out!

Discard all those messages from people who'd tell you they saw a vision of Jesus kneeling before the Father and begging with tears saying ;ONE LAST CHANCE for this people, and then God stops the Angel from blowing the trumpet!
This is heresy! It has no scriptural backing! Follow the word!

His intersession flows in this manner;

Because He's alive and seated at the right hand of the Father, I am;

"Forgiven"
"Justified"
"Sanctified"
"Righteous"
"Holy"
"A son"
"An heir"
"Loved"
"Favoured"
"Honoured"
"Blessed"

And the list goes on ...

Jesus' death , burial , resurrection , and sitting at the right hand of the Father is for your benefit! That's His intercession for you ! That's all you need. Yours is to understand how to live in the consciousness of what He has done!
