WHAT IS DETERMINATION?
- Determination is resoluteness, will power or strength of will in the pursuit of worthy objectives
- Determination is a sense of purpose, firmness of purpose, fixity of purpose or purposefulness
- Determination is a state of intentness, decidedness and steadfastness
- Determination is perseverance, persistence, tenacity or tenaciousness and indefatigability
- Determination is staying power, strong-mindedness, solid backbone, bulldog spirit or pertinacious-ness.
- Determination reflects in positive stubbornness, doggedness, obstinacy, obdurateness, inflexibility
- Determination is bravery, boldness, courageousness, stout-heartedness and a fighting spirit

- Determination releases the strength to surmount opposition
- Determination sustains positive actions and positive actions when repeated establishes positive outcome
- Determination affects discretion
- Determination attracts Divine assistance (2Kings 7:3-7)
-The move of man in the right direction attracts the move of God - Determination guarantees destination (Gen. 11:31-32; 12:1-5)
-When you stop moving, you start dying
-There is a connection between the ‘liver’ and the silver; if you need the silver, you need to connect the ‘liver’
-There is a connection between the ‘bold’ and the gold; if you need the gold, you need to connect the ‘bold’
WHAT IS DISCIPLINE?
- Discipline is doing what is required to achieve what is desired – Bishop David Oyedepo
- Discipline is focusing on the profitable instead of the legitimate but unprofitable
- Discipline is bearing pain in the present in order to create gain in the future
- Discipline is delaying gratification today in order to enjoy satisfaction tomorrow
- Discipline is the capacity to say no to the unprofitable without regrets and with dignity
- Discipline is being hard on self so that life can be easy on you
- Discipline is having self under firm control, order and rule
- Discipline is the capacity to do the right thing without external supervision

- Discipline preserves character and character undergirds destiny (Dan. 1:8)
- Discipline facilitates excellence and excellence is cure to prejudice
- Discipline is raw material for destiny (Exo. 33:11)
