Palm Sunday - “Hosanna to the Son of David!”

Palm Sunday comes once a year, and it is one of those Sundays when we all want to carry palm leaves. It is actually one of those ‘stylish Sunday’s!”.

Coming before Easter, Palm Sunday welcomes the holy week when we remember and celebrate the day our Lord Jesus, savior and King, entered Jerusalem, the Holy city.

On that day, Jesus rod a donkey and as he entered the historic city of Jerusalem, crowds laid palm branches across the road so that he trod on them in the most royal of treatments.

“Hosanna to the Son of David!” the crowds sang as Jesus passed, laying and waving palms branches.
