The Best Is Yet To Come
1 Peter 1:6-7 New International Version (NIV)
6 In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. 7 These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.
In front of this Lot, someone is building a house. I recall when my father remodeled our house way back years ago: It was also not a nice view. It was dusty. It was noisy and messy. But when it was completed, I can't help but to be amazed because I saw a beautiful well constructed house. Maybe at this moment, you don't like what's going on in your life. Because all see and observe is the mess, dirt and chaos. But that's because God is constructing something absoulutely beautiful in you. Be patient with yourself. God is not finished with you yet. The best is yet to come.
