IN EVERYTHING GIVE THANKS

In everything, give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Most times when we go through difficult times or are expecting a breakthrough, we normally pray fervently and wait diligently for the Lord to deliver us before we give thanks to God or give an offering of thanksgiving. We put off our thanksgiving until we see what we have been praying for. Our scripture today however recommends that we do not wait to come out of our issues before we do so but thank God even whiles we are still in them.
It then goes on to assure us that this is the will of God concerning us. This is very helpful seeing that we often wonder what the will of God for us in such situations is and what exactly he expects from us. In such times of confusion, just remember your thanking him is always a part of his will and with it, you cannot go wrong.

Give thanks to God in the midst of your problems especially you are confused as to what to do next.
