ALL THINGS TO MY GOOD

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

There are times we look at our lives and our mistakes and regrets and wonder what good could ever come out of it. Our lives at that point may look like such a mess and a waste for that matter. Yet, God has a way of using our mistakes and bad experiences of the past to produce a wonderful future; one that brings him glory. In fact He's so good at doing this that sometimes we think He was actually the orchestrator of the bad circumstances and mistakes we went through in the past though He is not.
In our opening verse, the scripture assures that all things work together for the good of those who love God. In other words, on their own, our past may look hopeless but when it comes together with the plans God has in store for our future, they produce a life that is beautiful. So whenever you are tempted to look to the past in regret and frustration, remember that our God is a redeemer and look to the future in hope. You will not be disappointed.

Thank God for his grace and mercy that caters even for your mistakes.

Thank you Lord that you are my redeemer and the lifter up of my head.
