Keep your heart with all assiduously/ meticulously for out of it spring forth issues of life. {Pro. 5:22}
The heart is a gate way to man’s life. It is the central processing unit of what he conceive, i.e. think of, perceive, look on, hears, smells, invent, give regard to, make up, formulate, create, imagine, consider to do, or intend to do, whether good or bad, and whatever we put in there is what the heart will process {garbage in garbage out}. Therefore, do not emasculate your heart; ensure to always debug every negative thought that comes in there.

 Why should Man Keep Their Heart assiduously?
 From it comes out issues of life. I.e. what comes out from the mouth is an overflow of the heart, and when the heart is full the mouth speaks {Pro. 5:22}
 The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked. {Jer.17:9}
 But those things which proceed out of mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. {Matt.15:18}
 He who keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps his soul from trouble.-{Pro.21:23}
 As the man thinks in his heart so he is. {Pro. 23:7}
 Where your treasure is there will your heart be also. {Matt.6:21}
 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good treasure, and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks. {Luke 6:45}
 But those things which proceed out of mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. { Matt.15:18}
 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, and blasphemies. {Matt. 15:19}
 How degenerate your heart is, says the Lord God, that you do all these things, the deeds of a brazen/shameless harlot. {Ezek.16:30}
 But as for those whose heart goes after their detestable things and their abominations, I will bring their deeds upon their own heads, says the Lord God. {Ezek. 11:21}
 Fools say in their hearts, "There is no God." They are corrupt, they do abominable deeds, and there is no one who does God”. {Psalm 14:1}
The conclusion of the matter is that the determinant factor of whether a man’s heart/mind is bad or good is the functions/products of his heart.
