IT WAS WOMEN'S DAY IN ASSEMBLIES OF GOD CHURCH NIGERIA

Dear Steemians,

Today 13 May 2018, Women's Day was observed in all Assemblies of God (AG) Church Nigeria, and my newly found AG was not left out. Yes oh our church is a new ground very ripe and ready for harvest. We are very few less than twenty members altogether. But the discouraging number never deterred the few women. They went ahead and celebrated the women's day and it was awesome.

The church service was coordinated by women, they rendered special numbers, Bible challenge, playlet and organised a choir. It was the pastor's wife that delivered the message. It was indeed splendid. They were so organised that you will think they have been practising together for years yet they barely know themselves. Infact it was just three women since and just a week to the women's they went out for evangelism and won five new souls (members).

It was an exciting day and very successful. The women did fantastically well by feeding the entire church with rice and drink. What a memorable day i must say.

I am particularly grateful to God for witnessing this year's women day and in such a manner i never expected. The women took us on surprise from the beginning to the end of the programme.

Never under estimate any individual not to talk of what God can do in a man's life. With the right mind of determination believing in Jesus, nothing is indeed impossible. It was such a great lesson that this year's women's day in this new place has taught me.
