The Christian Mindset
Good morning my fellow Christian's... I hope your week is going well. As we continue throughout this week I would like to briefly touch on a subject I don't think we hear enough about.
The Christian Mindset
So often us humans aren't intentional about our mindset. The attitude that we start the day off with, during the day, and at the end of the day.
There are two types of people. Those who let their emotions, and attitude decide the course for the rest of the day, and those who decide what their attitude is going to be for that day.
Victor Frankl speaks to this concept in his book "A Man's Search for Meaning" when he said that man can take anything from you. Your job, clothes, food, shelter, everything. But the one thing they can't take from you is your ability to react to any given situation.
Contrary to popular thought us humans have the power and the ability to decide our attitude and emotions. It's called taking control of your life.
In some semblance of the word, yes we do need to take control of our life. Are thoughts and emotions. Not every thought we have is our own. Sometimes they are impressed upon us. It could be the Holy Spirit, it could be the enemy, or it could even be other humans. We need to be ab1. itemle to filter our thoughts. It says in Philippians:
For the rest, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is righteous, whatever is clean, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good report, if there is any uprightness and if there is any praise – think on these.
Pilipiyim (Philippians) 4:8 TS2009
The Bible charges us to take control of our own thoughts and think on good things. Not our worries, problems, or hardships. Philippians 4 also gives us:
Do not worry at all, but in every matter , by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to Elohim. And the peace of Elohim, which surpasses all understanding, shall guard your hearts and minds through Messiah יהושע.
Pilipiyim (Philippians) 4:6-7 TS2009
Don't live with negativity in your life. Remain positive, remain close to God, and remain steadfast. God will give you answers to your problems and he will make sure it will all work out in the end.
