THE WISDOM IN GIVING GOD QUALITY PRAISE AND WORSHIP

If you are saved, praising God and worshipping Him is an important part of our fellowship. Throughout the Bible, the commands to 'praise the Lord' are too numerous to mention. Bible even made us to understand that angels and heavenly hosts are praising the Lord(Ps 89 vs 5, 103 vs 20). All inhabitants of the earth are instructed to praise the Lord(Rom 15 vs 11).
Praise is the joyful recounting of all God has done for us. It is the truthful acknowledgement of the righteous acts of God. God is worthy of our praise(Ps 18 vs 3).
Worship is the art of losing self in the adoration of God. It should be reserved for God alone. God is a spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in the truth(Jn 4 vs 24)
Praise is intertwined with thanksgiving while worship is intertwined with surrender. Praise can be part of worship, but worship goes beyond praise. Our God deserve both from us.
There are several ways we can praise God

1. With singing Isa 12 vs 5, Ps 9 vs 11
2. With shouting Ps 98 vs 4
3. With dancing Ps 150 vs 4
4. With musical instruments Ps 150 vs 4, I chro 13 vs 8
5. With clapping Ps 47 vs 1
   To give a quality worship, we must let go of ourselves. This can be done by surrendering every part of our lives to His control.
   Some of the ways we can worship God are these;
6. Bowing Heb. 11 vs 21
7. Kneeling Rev 19 vs 10
8. Lifting our hands
9. Lying or prostrating
   True worship will realign our priorities with God's and acknowledge Him once more as the rightful Lord of our lives.
   Benefits of praise and worship
10. Praise and worship get our focus off ourselves and back to God.
11. Praise and worship make the enemies flee. 2 Chro 20 vs 22
12. Praise and worship bring us to a place of humility.
13. Praise and worship leaves no room for complaining and negativity. Ps 103 vs 2-4
14. Praise and worship invites God's presence.
15. Our spirits are refreshed and renewed through praise and worship. Ps 16 vs 11
16. Praise and worship paves way for God's power to be displayed. Acts 16 vs 25-26
    In conclusion, we can see that with all these benefits, there is wisdom in giving God quality praise and worship, therefore, believers must cultivate the attitude of praise and worship because it is God's food. God sees the heart, and He desires and deserves sincere heartfelt praise and worship.
