People Who Attend To The Lord, The Church Of Christ The Lord
It is a very common saying, that
"Cleanliness is next to godliness" .
The statement above is true to a great extent, and so, it becomes the duty of Christians to maintain cleanliness in our homes, offices and other places we might find ourselves.
The Church of God is not an exception. Most times, we care for our rooms but drop nylons in the church. We prevent grasses from growing in our homes, but we care less about the house of God- Our place of worship. I believe this is happening because we see the house of God, not as our own, but as a joint building. So, we only come to church to pray and expect prompt response from God.
We claim to love God but never revere his house.
How lovely it would be to Attend to the Lord
I was once told that cleaning the house of God is a way of gaining indulgence
Dear friends (most especially we youths), all we can give to God is our energy and time.
This weekend, try as much as possible to create time and go to church, do your own part in ensuring that the house of God is in order and neat.
Wow, if you are a youth, I must compliment your parents. I think you and I might be the only people that had this mindset in our youth😂. When a person in cleaned from sin, you can literally see it in their appearance. Cleaning is not as beneficial for the cleaner as it is for the cleaned.
