HE RESTORES MY SOUL PART 3
Psalms 23:2

God is in the business of restoring the souls of men because He is the good shepherd.He will always keep watch over our soul, Spirit and body. He is able to keep them blameless until eternity.

Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thessalonians 5:23 NASB).
The Psalmist says: “My soul you will not leave in hell”(Psalms 16:10)

I need to say this to a man or woman going through hard times:The good shepherd won’t leave your soul there …He will restore your soul!
Interestingly, part of His restoration package is to make you a thousand much more better than you used to be. When God allows afflictions and trying times, He doesn’t desire to stretch us to destruction, His grand plan is rather to make us more beautiful by His refining processes!

Jesus said:”Lord, unto you I commend my Spirit” It wasn’t’ about the afflicted, dying body and debilitating condition.

At this juncture,the Soul and the Spirit of God’s beloved were most crucial…to bring His good work to completion. Undoubtedly, the message of the cross will be punctured if God didn’t rescue Jesus’ soul from hell. The beauty of the Easter message is that He rose after He died. Death had no hold on Him. He had the ability to lay down His life and take it again.

You cannot die in that affliction. You will rise again. Though the righteous falls seven times, He will rise again stronger and better!

Romans 8:11 "But if the Spirit of him who made Jesus come again from the dead is in you, he who made Christ Jesus come again from the dead will in the same way, through his Spirit which is in you, give life to your bodies which now are under the power of death."
You can say it again: “The Lord is my shepherd…He restores my soul…”
