It is challenging. But, so is anything that is worth doing! : ) Just start off slow...maybe do one day or just one meal. It's very beneficial to the body as well as your spirit man!
The first 3 day fast I ever completed resulted in God revealing mystery in a dream I had been holding onto for nearly 10 years! I was shocked to my core and knew that I needed to fast and pray more often, especially if the Holy Spirit moves you to do so. So it not only effects how we interact with the spiritual realm, it also effects our relationship with the Father. I believe if we fast and pray when He commands us to do so, it's for a reason He is not obligated to reveal unless it is completed. So implement this powerful tool into your belt, and don't be overwhelmed if you cannot make it a day or 2, just try again and again. I honestly (imo) fell short during my first 3 day fast because I wanted to taste what kind of baby food my 9 month old daughter was eating, on day 3 without even thinking, but God still freely gave that revelation to me. Fasting has many benefits! It's best to start slow and do maybe a day or two and work your way up to longer fasts. It's good for the soul and it's also very good for the physical body. God bless!
Jesus even said that when he is gone(being this bridegroom) his disciples will fast. Certainly Jesus fasted because its a spiritual exercise that assist in US in the place of fellowship and prayers.
You notice Jesus did not have to tell them to wait while He fasted, then bring the boy to Him. Jesus led a āfasted lifeā, as well His followers need also to lead a fasted life. Two weeks ago in a meeting in the Philippines I casted a couple of demons out of a possessed woman! To God be the glory!

I miss that fasting due to heavy work. Ive tried 3 days before and God is so amazing.
