“And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Note here that the evening to the morning was called the first day
It started off from the night
In life we start from darkness into light
From ignorance into knowledge
Sin into righteousness
Weakness into strength
From a baby into adulthood

Unfortunately some people start in the darkness and stay there
It’s all because of the mindset they started with
You got to come out and progress
We start from darkness and move into light

Mark 8:22-25

“And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him. And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought. And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking. After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.”

First he starts with no vision no view
And when they brought him to Jesus he led him
When you have no view those with dominant view will lead you. Also the blind can lead the blind but they’ll both fall into a ditch
Without a vision you can be lead right into a ditch
It’s a very vulnerable position to be in
If you can’t see

Now let’s make a distinctive point here
The man said he saw men as trees
Listen, you treat men the way you see them
If someone destroys something of yours you’ll see him as a destroyer
And if he’s kind and friendly you’ll see him so too
You treat men as you see them

Matt 6:22-23

This scripture reminds me of Paul, then Saul, and on the road to Damascus experience

It’s possible to have light and have your light darkened
It’s your mindset
Something has happened to the light
You quote scripture but your life doesn’t depict the scripture
You’re matured but your life is as of a child’s

Ok so back to Paul
Saul was learned but this knowledge got his ‘light’ (enlightenment) darkened
So how does Jesus address this
By attacking his eyes
Reading Acts 9
You realize “And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭9:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭9:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬
You remember Mark 8 i mentioned that when you’re blind you’ll be led

But when Jesus sent Ananias
When the real light came - The Godly understanding
When the right mindset was instilled
It was time to come forth, birth out
See what happened : progress - dependable light

“And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭9:18‬ ‭KJV‬‬
You’ll see and see more clearly

Seek after Jesus
Seek after Godly knowledge

Seek the kingdom of God and his righteousness!
Seek wisdom (Jesus)
