What are the ethical differences between Judaism and Christianity?
There is a difficulty answering such a question.
Firstly, the answer can easily be a representation of own opinions as something positive and the "counterparty" as something negative. So simple, reality is not and no one can be served with such a response.
Secondly, neither Judaism nor Christianity is unique. There are many different directions today in both Judaism and Christianity. These directions do not always come up to the same answer to all ethical questions. However, that does not mean that it is impossible to say anything about what is Christianity and what is Judaism. Both parties have a value base.
When we look at the values of Judaism and Christianity, the relationship between Judaism and Christianity is special because we have virtually the same basic point, namely the revelation of God. When I say so much, it is because Judaism relies on the revelation of God through Moses and the Prophets (what we call the OT), where we as Christians also relate to the revelation of God through His own Son, as we find it in the NT .
Next, I would like to remind you that the first Christian church was a Jewish direction, called the "Nazarene Party" (Acts 24.5). Jesus himself was a Jew, he lived as a Jew and was considered by many in his time as a rabbi. i.e. teaches and teaches in jewish faith At one point, he is asked about the most important commandment in the book of Moses, and he answers: "You must love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. It is the greatest and first commandment. is another thing that stands out: You must love your neighbor as yourself. On the two commandments rests all the law and the prophets. (Matt. 22: 37-40).
I doubt that any Jew today would say that this is a wrong or bad answer. It is also a Christian answer because it is Jesus who says it. Finally, there are Jews who believe that Jesus is the one Moses and the prophets talked about, who at the same time (or hence) maintain that this belief is Jewish (but not different from the belief that Gentiles have in Jesus).
Having said that, we may still speak of an "official" Judaism, which does not recognize Jesus as the Messiah / Christ. It is the big difference between Judaism and Christianity.

if we are going to discuss differences then we are only creating distances, so why discuss differences or dissimilarities when you can discuss the similarities, spreading love, humour, affection and peace and bringing an halt to the wars and religious riots, all religions teach us the same to spread love and peace.... spread it :)
I agree, that's what i'm working on, but many people also don't know what the differences is.
Differences are essentially based on personal interpretation, and can be seen as an extension of what you believe in. However someone might interpret the two religions differently and have a different belief system than yourself.
Spot on @muhasib. Spreading love and simple acts of kindness can make a difference in other peoples lives more than we can ever imagine. By being kind, we have the power of making the world a happier place in which to live, or at least we greatly diminish the amount of unhappiness in it. Joy can be real only if people look upon their lives as a service and have a definite object in life outside themselves and their personal happiness. There is no greater joy nor greater reward than to make a difference in someone's life. Go out and make a difference in your community. You don't need endless time and perfect conditions. Do it now. Do it today. Do it for twenty minutes and watch your heart start beating with compassion for all.
Budhaism anchor their belief on budha(master) and xtainity is on christ. Budhism has what we call absence of the soul, whereby the soul is said ro have travelled out of a person(mindfulness)
Judaism a soul leaves when you are already a dead man or woman.
Budhism do not talk about creator(God), but christianity holds tenaciously to it.

The thing is the jewish still waiting for their "messiah" because they don't recognize Jesus as the Messiah / Christ and that's the main different reason between Judaism and Christianity.
Intersante and controversial topic, must in the past propitiated conflicts and heated discussions. I think his point is to emphasize that Judaism was first and that Christianity is a religious progressive of them.
Undoubtedly, this is the case, the history is organized of lesser quality, and although Judaism is an older religion and culture, it is still valid in a large part of the western Mediterranean. And Christianity in some way was able to inhabit races and places. Judaism was as closed in the Jewish families, the Christianity muted and opened to all humanity.
As a Jewish believer in Messiah (Christ) Yeshua (Jesus) as both Savior and the Son of God, I certainly agree with your conclusion. Whereas born-again Christians recognize that Messiah has already come and is coming again, unsaved Jews are still awaiting the Messiah.
Among other reasons that Jews have not yet accepted Jesus is that the 1st century Jews were looking for a conquering king Messiah and not a suffering servant. In fact, some Orthodox Jews today believe that there will be two Messiahs and do not realize that Jesus has fulfilled the role of the Lamb of God (the suffering servant of Isaiah 53), but will return as King Messiah to rule and reign over the nations.
The second reason is: For I, brethren, would not have you be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits: that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in. Romans 11:25
Again I ask: Did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all! Rather, because of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious. Romans 11:11
God is sovereign and merciful and it is His plan that Israel is blinded in part (not recognizing Yeshua as Messiah), so that salvation will come to the nations.

Love encompasses all laws. If you love God, you won't try and hurt him with your actions. If you love your neighbor, you won't hurt him too. Or can you hurt those you claim to love? No! Irrespective of the religion love us the major key. Judaism or Christianity: it's just a way of life. our mind should just be focused on doing these 2 things in life- love your neighbors and love God..

Either Judaism or Christianism it's up to us if go with the first one or the latter maybe bibizzle would just like to emphasize that either these two are still linked with each other. Maybe the difference of these is just the first one still believing on the OT while the Christians today already based on the NT which is the time of Jesus or the one that they have been waiting for so long...the coming of MESSIAH or the SAVIOR. The focal point here is not about giving us confusions but to give us clarifications that we must respect one another and must love the Lord our God whom we believed in with all our hearts,soul,mind and strength.
