What God promised you; It will fulfill it.

The story is told of three frogs that fell into a very deep hole, the first when they took the initiative to go out, listened to the voices of others who were waiting upstairs and said: - You can not, you are very small, you will fall again! - This caused that frog to fall fast.

Then the other frog takes strength and momentum to start climbing and the same frogs began to say negative things, resulting in the same, the frog fell. But the last frog, animated by itself begins to rise and even with alarming cries of those frogs saying: - You can not !, you are not able to climb. The surprise was that the little frog could, but how did he do it? It turned out that the frog was deaf.

This is how many people abandon the prophetic word received by God when they lend their ears to listen to the voices of others who are opposed so that you do not reach what God promised you. The word of God states in:

Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans that I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans of well-being and not of calamity, to give you a future and a hope.

####The giver of life, creator of the universe already has plans of good for you, hold on to his promises and take credit for what he says

2 Corinthians 1:20: "For all the promises of God are in him Yes, and in him Amen, through us, for the glory of God."

God is faithful and true, in the same way his promises, there is no one who can invalidate it. Nourish your mind of the Word and hope that the good is about to come.

Sort:

Jeremiah 29:11 is part of a much longer passage where God is talking to the Israelites who are being taken as slaves to Babylon where they will remain for 70 years. It has nothing to do with Christians today. Our hope is in Christ and our future is in Heaven.

2 Corinthians 1:20 is part of a longer passage. You have to read it completely to see where it fits in.

(2 Corinthians 1:16-22 NIV) I planned to visit you on my way to Macedonia and to come back to you from Macedonia, and then to have you send me on my way to Judea. {17} When I planned this, did I do it lightly? Or do I make my plans in a worldly manner so that in the same breath I say, "Yes, yes" and "No, no"? {18} But as surely as God is faithful, our message to you is not "Yes" and "No." {19} For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by me and Silas and Timothy, was not "Yes" and "No," but in him it has always been "Yes." {20} For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God. {21} Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, {22} set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.

The 2 Corinthians verse doesn't list any specific promises. Although we know that God will provide us with our basic needs. God won't allow us to be tempted beyond our ability to resist.
