Prayer Changes Things!

Our God, El-Shaddai is a God that answers prayers.

John 14:14 - If ye shall ask any thing in my name, i will do it.

When we ask God anything, it is a prayer. So when we pray to God, we ought to ask in faith, and believe without a doubt, that he will answer.

• By prayers, our fears and doubts turn to trust and faith
• By prayers, our weaknesses turn to strengths
• By prayers, our hopelessness turns to hopefulness
• By prayers, our poverty turns to wealth
• By prayers, our sicknesses, infirmities and diseases turn to soundness and health

To receive answers to prayers, we must pray correctly:

• We must seperate ourselves from sin
• We must pray in line with God's will
• We must pray with all our heart
• We must pray until solution happens

Our prayers are like the sheath of a sword, it is not effective as a weapon of warfare, until the sword (which is our faith) in the sheath is drawn out, then we can do battle. For a battle is never won with sheathed swords, so also prayers without faith cannot receive answers. (James 1:6-7)

Exercising Faith in prayers opens up effectual doors unto us:

1. Door of abundance - we receive exceeding abundantly above all that we ask
2. Door of submission - Our enemies submit and bow before the God who is fighting on our behalf
3. Door of power - to exercise dominion and authority as a christian

Faith operates at three levels. Our faith is strongest when all three levels are operational in our lives.

• Level 1: Audible faith - Faith we exercise by our belief in the word of God and our confession of the word of God
• Level 2: Visible faith - Faith that prompts us to take an action, because we totally believe God's word without a doubt
• Level 3: Tangible faith - Faith that commands answers by reason of the exercise of visible and audible faith
  

Therefore as a sword should not abide on its own without a sheath for the benefit of its user, so also should our faith not be used without prayers to direct it for effectiveness
