JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON. MERRY CHRISTMAS STEEMIANS

Hello great people,
Merry christmas to you all! How is the celebration going? I wish I could get an invitation by any steemian to celebrate christmas together, who would that be?
It is christmas! Yay!!!

What is christmas?
Christmas in my definition is the celebration of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. While we are busy going out to have fun and party on this day, I would ask us not to forget the reason for this SPECIAL DAY. Taking you back to the word of God, Matthew 2:1-12. I would want us all to study it carefully. It tells us about the WISE MEN FROM THE EAST that king herod had sent to Bethlehem to spy on the birth of christ and bring back words to him so he can plan to kill Jesus. The lord appeared to this three wise men in the dream and instruct them not to return to Herod the king.

On this day, do we seek christ? Do you think you know HIM more? It is a day to flash back at what He has done in our lives and celebrate more of HIM.

WHAT ARE THE THINGS WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT CHRISTMAS

1. Know that Jesus is the reason for the season. He is the reason why we are standing today.

2. A period of reflection, thanking God for all He has done for us.

3. Jesus didnt start existing after HE was born, HE has always been existing before HE got to mary the virgin womb and that why after he died, HE is still alive! Glory be to God, most high! That why we all still celebrate a living JESUS today.

4. Do we know that the reason we give presents at Christmas is to symbolize the gifts given to baby Jesus by the three wise men.

5. Jesus christ is the main LIGHT of the world.
   Darkness can't stand where He exist. So when you have CHRIST, no darkness!

There are lot to know about Jesus Christ and christmas, that why when we pray today, let pray for more Grace to know HIM more and serve HIM righteously.
