The Mark of God / The Mark of the Beast

Revelation 7:2-3 ...'And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a
loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the
sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.'

Revelation 13:16-17 ...'And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their 
right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, OR the name of the 
beast, OR the number of his name.'

God tells us that his own mark or seal in the forehead, is our thoughts being focused always on His Word. The mark of the Beast therefor is the keeping of the law of the Flesh in the mind. The mark and seal of God on the hand is of the Works that come from the mark in the forehead. Thus, the mark on the hand of the Beast is similar, but to the flesh and sin.

So if you're reading Revelation and waiting with paranoid suspicion about some kind of visible mark that denotes a good or evil person; pay attention. God has been offering his seal since Cain. The beast has been taking his own anyway -- the Beast is You. Or rather, Us. The things WE decide are okay or aren't. The way WE profane the temples.

So are you waiting for some tattoo or afraid of your social security number? The number of the beast is 666. 7 is God's number for completion. Get the point? It isn't as confusing as you might want to think it is. It isn't far off, but Right Now. So take your pick ... choose your mark. Take the right one. And follow us who follow Him.
