Its main consequence is obesity and weight gain. That's why you have to maintain a controlled diet in calories and not overdo it at mealtime and remember everything in moderation.

And be very careful with people suffering from migraines, since they should not consume or drink chocolate since they have amounts of tyramine, histamine and phenylethylamine that in certain people, are related to the occurrence of migraine.
