The Worst Possible Name for a Supermarket
Chinglish is basically translation error from Chinese into English. There are many ways that this happens, and the most common is using a machine translator from Google or Baidu and copy and pasting without checking for errors. But there is another thing to consider. The more economically advanced a city becomes in China, the more instances of epic Chinglish goes down. Here in Changzhou and in my district of Xinbei, one of more epic bits of Chinglish recently died. This is what the supermarket currently looks like. It is a gut-and-remodel of older supermarket.
by the way.... this image is from my blog Real Changzhou. http://realchangzhou.org/2021/01/16/a-farewell-to-an-f-word/
Well? How bad was this before the remodel? The Chinese name was 福客多. They decided to make their English a "sort of" variant of the Pinyin for those characters. See for yourself. It's kinda fucked.

I thought I'll see fuck vegetables here.
well, some tubular vegetables like cucumbers and zuchini/corgettes and carrots are of a profoundly phallic nature. That could meet the scientific classification of a fucking vegetable. But, I understand. No such phallic vegetables were photographed here.
ah, a different take. sounds like you have not seen this image circulating years ago.
