Tengwang Pavilion, located in Yanjiang Road, Donghu District, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, is a landmark building of Nanchang City and a symbol of Yuzhang ancient civilization. It was built in the fourth year of Tang Yonghui (653), and was repaired by Li Yuanying, the younger brother of Tang Taizong Li Shimin, when he was the governor of Hongzhou in Southern China. Together with Yueyang Tower in Hunan Province and Yellow Crane Tower in Wuhan, Hubei Province, it is known as the "Three famous buildings in Jiangnan", one of the four famous buildings in ancient China and one of the "Ten famous historical and cultural buildings in China", and is known as the "first floor of Xijiang River".
Tengwang Pavilion main building height 57.5 meters, construction area of 13,000 square meters; The lower part is a 12-meter-high pedestal symbolizing the ancient city wall, which is divided into two levels; The main pavilion above the pedestal takes the format of "bright three dark seven", which is a three-story building with corridor.
