The flag of the of China dates back to 1949, when the 1st Chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Mao Zedong, founded the People's Republic of China.

The basic color of the China Country Flag is red, which is also characteristic of communism and revolutionary moods. In the flagpole we can see one large and four small stars, the symbolism of which is interpreted in different ways.

One theory is that the big star represents the Communist Party and the small stars represent four classes in China - the workers, the peasants, the traders and the capitalists.

Another explanation is the big star, but this one says that the small stars symbolize the four smaller political parties that have been allowed in China.

But, there is also a version that the stars symbolize the five largest ethnic groups in the country - China, Manchuria, Mongolia, Sinkiang (East Turkestan) and also Tibet.

The red color of the national flag means revolution, and the yellow color of the five stars symbolizes the golden shining rays emanating from the great red country. The design of the four smaller stars surrounding the larger one indicates the unity of the Chinese people under the leadership of the Communist Party of the People's Republic of China.
