Decision that Changed the Destiny of China

There is a party system in China. This system runs by the Communist Party of China. This party has currently three categories. The first category is known as “National People's Congress” that contains three thousand members. These members are chosen from across the country and all government institutions. The army and the bureaucracy representatives are also included in them.

Second category is called standing committee. It has 150 members which are selected from the Congress. These members make up a politburo; there are 7 members in the politburo. Secretary General of this bureau becomes President of the country in future. Prime Minister is also taken from this bureau. This system is managed by Chairman Deng Xiaoping in the decade' 1980.

Before it, the whole country is used to run by four people. These four people were called "Gang of Four". They ruled on the country till their death and were the 'supporters of old ideas. They were not ready to see the modern world. At that time, the digital revolution was coming in the world. Computer, Internet, Mobile phones and auto-metric vehicles were standing at the door of the world. The borders of the countries were also struggling for the opening, and the world was also running towards Global Economy. The Chairman Deng Xiaoping felt that the senior people of the party are sticking with conservatives; they are not ready to get out of the shell. If they do not change their views, then China will remain behind in the race of international achievements. He woke up and announced the retirement of all main leadership, including himself. It was decided that, no person can remain on the post of President more than two times and he will be retired even before seventy years. He also made the decision that no person can become Chief after he is 65 years old. This decision proved to be most important decision in China's destiny.

Now China is the world's economic superpower. It is fulfilling the needs of the whole world from socks to the ship. Today you find the sticker of “Made in China” on several products such as flags of America, Makkah Mukrramah's praying carpets, crosses of the Vatican City and much more. The foreign exchange of China’s reservoir has reached US $ 3.3 trillion, while it sells 2.3 trillion dollars in global markets each year. All these achievements are due to the decision that was taken in 1980s. This action became the reason to open the China's industrial and economic boundaries. Europe and America's companies were allowed to enter China's borders. So as the decision of the 1980s played a major role in where China is standing today.

Now China is increasing his economic relationship with Pakistan. CPEC (China-Pakistan Economic Corridor) project is one of the most important and astonished plan in the Asian history that can act as an international trade hub for Pakistan. India also tried to achieve such an important status in international community via Afghanistan, but he failed to gain the desired achievements.

As far considering the structure of this project, it is God gift to Pakistan that Pakistan is situated at a geostrategic location from where the country can potentially be the regional hub of trading and economic activities. It was identified as a suitable site for a deep water port where ships can land. Gwadar has a deep and warm water coast and this port is a link between the East and the West.

The port has started shipment, seasonal cargo and commercial trade in less time. Now China becomes enable to more safely and reliably import oil. Currently, sixty percent of China’s oil must be transported by ship from the Persian Gulf in near about two or three months. Hence time loss and distance will be reduced.

CPEC (China Pakistan Economic Corridor) is a 3218 kilo meters long root which will complete in next few years and this is consisted upon many highways, railways and pipe lines. The total cost of this plan is approximately 75 Billion Dollars. This long plan will lead Pakistan and China to the heights of their relationships. This is the beginning of a journey and it is expecting that through this plan Pakistan’s economy will also increase. In this project Karakorum highway is also included. Fiber optic line will be spread so the communication of both countries should increase.

This project will result in bringing a turning point in the destiny of Asian countries in regard of economic development. China-Pakistan relationships will meet a new peak of friendship, progress and trade world.
