The Fall of the Almighty Dollar & China's Gold backed Petroleum Yuan

From steel Tariffs, to recycled waste - Tension seems to be reaching a crescendo between two super powers. As we step into March, I can't help but reflect on how the new year started off with a bang!

From rockets, to political dis-ease, to monumental heights in crypto currencies and stocks, it appears we've seen it all and so much more. Or, are these just smoke screens, simply preventing us to see more urgent truths which lay ahead?

Our world today seems more an unscripted and luminous debacle stepping into some unchartered territories where crypto currencies are concerned. In fact, a once simple outlet such as Bloomberg TV, has for me become an over-inundation of drama. Suddenly, in 2018, the news more closely resembles Bad Reality TV! In fact, "Keeping up with the Kardashians" including one of the most successful Olympic Gold Medalists ever, now known as the lovely and beautiful Caitlyn Marie Jenner, aka, Bruce Jenner, could only dream to create such bad publicity as does the news today!

Like it or not, Trump has charisma! However, it is being exploited. As an observer, with little judgments projected onto the masses, it appears to me our world is so infused with this Reality TV show and political voyage, "the fake news", that we're not truly paying attention to what's going on! These important realities could and will mostly likely affect us. So, Lemme tell you a few things that are not garnering the attention, I sense they deserve.

China, with their gold backed YUAN, is set to rally and by doin so, can put a tremendous pressure on the almighty dollar in 2018. Is it my imagination or are we not taking this situation serious enough?

As we step out of Feb. and leap into March 2018, it seems some important nuances of 2017 need to be more closely examined. Particularly On September 1, 2017, the Nikkei Asian Review published an article entitled, "China sees new world order with oil benchmark backed by gold."

Also stated, "China is expected shortly to launch a crude oil futures contract priced in yuan and convertible into gold in what analysts say could be a game-changer for the industry"

More recently, signs point to the near certainty that China will succeed in its pursuit of a new monetary system backed by gold – helping explain why gold could be on the precipice of a breakout while the dollar, could be having its last hoorah.

The world’s top oil importer, China, is expected to launch its long-awaited and delayed yuan-denominated oil futures contract at the end of March, according to several sources. The Petroleum Gold Backed Yuan is seen as Beijing’s challenge to the US dollar, which is now the dominant global currency in oil contract settlements.

The contract could reportedly be launched on March 26 on the Shanghai International Energy Exchange (INE). The exchange has recently received the approval from China’s State Council.

Beginning in the 1970s, trading oil mostly has taken place in American dollars. China, being the greatest consumer of oil, has created a platform which contracts oil in its own currency. Their efforts would most likely better reflect pricing for their oil imported throughout Asia. This introduction will be highly beneficial to China, while rivaling West Texas, and the North Sea Brent.
Analysts say the success of the yuan oil futures contract depends on the Chinese regulation of the market. Others I have heard on alternative media suggest something more. However, this change is a massive change in how business has been conducted throughout decades of time. If successful, physical gold could reach heights of significant proportions. Time will tell.
