Incipient

Incipient is one of my favourite tracks on my album of chillout music, Anima Mundi. The track was written based on some granular synthesis sound mangling and deep drum generator running at ridiculously low Beats per minute where the brass was added fairly late in the process giving it that Miles Davies vibe.

It never ceases to amaze me just how deep the quality of this track is (even if I say so myself) as it seems to conjure up quite vivid imagery without the use of any other substances. Some people tell me this is great for meditation as are some of my other tracks.

I recently had a conversation with a guy who does film production and he thought that the tracks would be great for arty projects, light shows, experimental chillout lounges or even for dance performances. Would love to see a video of someone dancing expressively to the vibe on incipient or any other of my tracks.
