Little Monsters
Being a parent comes with its challenges. The little ones come and the house becomes a shouting panarama. They scatter the whole place and drive you crazy with their crying and stubbornness. Those kids have a penchant for driving one crazy. David don't do that! And that is exactly what David does (funny). The whole place is always in disarray. It seems the only place you can get some quiet and peace is when you are using the loo. The screaming can get maddening and you may wonder when it will all end. But guess what. They won't always be there. They will be grown ups someday and leave the house. They will seek seclusion from you. Your parental protection is going to be chocking someday. Too bad. But such is life.
So what are you going to do in preparation?
You are going to enjoy every moment those kids spend growing up. You are going to enjoy the screaming, the noise, the ability of those little ones to irritate.
Being a child is adventurous. Its full of intrigue (we all were once kids). Every adult wore diapers as a kid. But growing up comes with its challenges. They are trying to understand the things that go on around them. You can choose to be angry about their transition or you can step up and enjoy the time you have got with those little monsters. I as a parent have decided to enjoy the best of moments with my little angels. Join the movement.
Good advice. You have to embrace the chaos...now that I have 3 kids I definitely have done that. These days I actually secretly find it funny when my youngest draws with pen on the dining table! Before we know it they will be all grown up!
My dear, that chaos can be fun. Later years come with empty rooms and memories. And even when they come in during festive seasons, they must leave again. Painful but fact. Now is the time to enjoy them in all ramifications. Three kids can be a workload. Congratulations to you. Someday you will be proud of the adults your babies will be.
